Rapid 88; 50ml protecting lubricant
Cleans and protects. RAPID 88
This is a versatile polymer lubricant based on the latest chemical research. It is dissolved in an odourless hydrocarbon solvent.
Its function is to keep piano actions smooth-running over a long period of time. Rapid 88 does not creep but remains in the injected area.
This protects the action from moisture intrusion. The contact points of felt/metal and other materials are protected from dirt and corrosion.
In all areas where mechanical resistance has to be overcome, just a few drops of Rapid 88 reduces friction to a minimum.
Usage:
- Felt and casimir bushings such as all action center-pins
- grand damper guides and key bushings.
Application:
most accurate via disposable syringe or infusion bottle (462120).
Apply a few drops to bushing felt. Work into cloth with to-and-fro movement.
